CLAIRE LIPPMANN

CLAY: IN DIALOGUE WITH THE CHEF

ART FOR THE TABLE

"Claire shapes more than clay;
she crafts poetry in form.

Each piece emerges with an organic grace, echoing nature's quiet beauty and the warmth of her spirit. As a friend, "Cherie" is grounding yet inspiring, much like her work-inviting, serene, and deeply resonant.

Through her artistry, Claire captures not just moments, but emotions-turning clay into a language of its own."

THE ARTIST

I am a Paris-born ceramist based in Mexico City. My work is rooted in a direct, hands-on practice, where each piece is conceived and executed by me.

In close dialogue with chefs and clients, I create bespoke pieces defined by precision and material depth, in response to the demands of the table.

THE CRAFT

Guided by a clear principle—honor the material, serve the chef’s vision.

Each curve, texture, and weight is refined to support the final expression at the table.

From my studio, clay becomes a canvas. Each form is shaped with precision to support the chef’s vision at the table.
